100 Feet of Art and History, Stone Arch Bridge Festival

A group art installation project that was a collaboration between Art to Change the World and the Mill City Museum. The installation was up put up just before the festival and stayed up until August. Artist Sadie Ward and I created an art version of the Stone Arch Bridge using found objects and scrap denim fabric.

In the Fox Den Gallery there was a body image themed art show for Pride month. In the main area gallery I donated a purple bolo tie to be raffled for a Prince exhibition.

I worked with a group of artists for Catherine Palmer Paintings to run a pour painting activity during their annual picnic. For this event I designed a canvas holding system that decreases the likelihood of getting paint everywhere.

Faces of Our Communities Exhibition, Solidarity Street Gallery

The theme for this event was artworks celebrating the tapestry of cultures in the neighborhood. ArT at 967 Payne set up a “walking gallery” during the Uniquely Eastside Festival. I had pieces on display and a table with some of my art. This was my first time being an art vendor outside of Solar Arts.

This exhibition was for works created by artists with Autism. I had three pieces that were selected for the event: my self-portrait drawing, a furniture piece, and a collage.

In the Fox Den Gallery we had an environment themed exhibition related to Earth Day where artists had to use a thrifted canvas to create a new artwork. In the creative cove, an area near the Fox Den at Solar, the Mississippi River Pearl sculpture was on display for Earth Day.

A group art show where the pieces had a focus on the color orange. For this I decided to show my graphic design skills be creating a postcard with many little orange logos.

This was my first ever solo art show which I was able to do through my internship with ACW. I created some new pieces and showed a few from the past.

The classroom for my sculpture class was set up as a gallery during the end of semester event called Senior Show. I created display that looked like a scene from the end of a drag show with a hat full of money on a stage.

Radical Jewelry Makeover Exhibition, Union Art Gallery

I made a necklace out of recycled jewelry in an art metals class for an exhibition where all proceeds went to a scholarship.
